THE ROLE
We're looking for an Architectural Production Assistant to support construction documentation on custom residential projects. This is a hands-on production role working directly with the principal and design team. You'll spend most of your time in Revit, but you'll also be expected to step away from the screen — visiting job sites, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and occasionally interfacing with clients.
The right person is detail-oriented without being rigid, comfortable in the field as well as at the desk, and genuinely interested in how buildings actually get built.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Develop and maintain construction documents in Revit across project phases
– Coordinate drawing sets for accuracy, completeness, and constructibility
– Attend site visits and support field observation and documentation
– Assist with contractor and client communication as needed
– Work closely with the principal on project delivery from design through construction
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
– Proficiency in Revit — this is non-negotiable
– Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM Collaborate Pro
– Exposure to construction sites and an understanding of how drawings translate to built work
– Comfort communicating with contractors and clients in a professional, confident manner
– A collaborative, low-ego approach — we're a small team and everyone pulls weight
– Experience level is open; the right person and the right attitude will win this role
COMPENSATION
$28–$35/hr depending on experience. This is a full-time hybrid position based in the Fort Worth area. Benefits are modest at the outset and will grow with the firm.
