Each year, architects, consultants, contractors, and design and construction professionals come together for one of our most beloved traditions, the UTA/AIA Fort Worth Acme Brick Sporting Clay Classic & BBQ Cook Off. Now in its 21st year, this signature event brings the local design and construction community out to compete for bragging rights and "Top Gun" honors in a festive, collaborative atmosphere that's as much about camaraderie as it is about friendly competition. The tournament funds multiple UTA scholarship endowments, has provided annual stipends to UTA's AIA Student Chapter, supported Tarrant County College's scholarship fund, and contributed to AIA Fort Worth's Student Design Award scholarships. It's a day where the industry comes together to celebrate community, competition (and BBQ!)
