Cultural District Hotel Project Update
On Friday, March 3rd, 2017, representatives from our chapter met with Councilman Dennis Shingleton to discuss the proposed hotel project and to encourage thoughtful design for the hotel project located on Camp Bowie across from the Kimbell Art Museum.At the City Council Meeting, on Tuesday, March 7th, the Council approved a tax incentive package that reduced the minimum height from 12 stories to 10 stories and reduced the minimum number of rooms from 200 to 170.Here are a few links to additional articles regarding the project:https://txamagazine.org/2017/
