Hosted by AIA Fort Worth’s K-12 Outreach Committee, Box City is a fun hands-on activity where kids design and build their own miniature buildings using provided materials. Once complete, their creations are placed on a scaled site plan to form a collaborative, miniature city. Guided by architects and designers, this come-and-go event encourages creativity, teamwork, and introduces basic concepts of architecture, urban planning, and community design in an engaging way.
We will be in the Magnolia Make Believe section of the festival from 3pm-6:30pm.
