This holiday reception is exclusively for the membership of the Fort Worth chapters of AIA, IIDA, USGBC, and CSI and their families.
Attendees, bring a business card for the raffle!

This year's theme is Favorite Holiday Movie!
Join the local chapters of AIA, IIDA, CSI, and USGBC for a Gingerbread Build-Off!! This Design-Build event provides an opportunity for building industry professionals to show off their design skills. Teams will construct their confections at a location of their choosing and bring them to the holiday reception for judging.
EVENT INFORMATION
WHERE: GL Seaman & Co.
WHEN: December 12th @ 6:00pm
COST: Free to attend and free to submit competition entry
INCLUDED: The first 10 teams to register will be provided a starter gingerbread kit
COMPETITION RULES
1. Teams will construct their confections at a location and time of their own choosing and bring the completed projects to GL Seaman & Co.
2. Houses or structures should be completely edible (no glue or inedible accessories.) Nonedible items are limited to the display surface and lighting.
3. You may use any edible material that you like. You may use purchased materials, kits, or homemade materials that are edible
4. This event is for AIAFW, IIDA, USGBC, and CSI members, however member-led teams can include friends, family, consultants, etc.
5. Final entry must fit on 24”x24” display board or smaller. You may decorate the display board.
6. Each team may present one printed 8.5” x 11” page of information to the judges. The judges are not required to review or consider this information. Teams are not required to present this information.
7. You may not pay another company to complete the design or build.
8. Each team may submit one entry. Individuals may submit one entry each.
9. Have fun!!!
• Though not required, we encourage you to share updates of your progress on social media and tag us!
GINGERBREAD KIT PICKUP & DROPOFF
Free gingerbread kits will be provided to teams (while supplies last)
Teams can pick up kits weekdays from 8:30am - 4:30pm from GL Seaman (2624 Weisenberger Street) beginning Friday, November 17th (until 2pm on 11/22, closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday)
Each team can choose 1-2 kits. There are a variety of pre-made box kits and kits to make your own gingerbread available
Teams can drop off their structures from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th
After the holiday party, teams can take their structures home although leftover structures will be donated to The Warm Place
